Lenovo Intelligence Cloud and China Binary jointly support the South Pacific island countries to build Digital Belt and Road

On April 25, leaders from South Pacific island nations attended the second Belt and Road Summit in Beijing and met Ms. Janet Tang, CEO of Lenovo Intelligence Cloud and Mr. Jiangtao Sun, CEO of China Binary New Fintech Group and Founder of CBiBank at Lenovo Group headquarter. They discussed how the two companies support the South Pacific island countries to participate in the Digital Belt and Road project. China Binary will provide fintech solutions for the countries, while Lenovo Intelligence Cloud will provide analytical solutions for vertical industry based on software and artificial intelligence technology to support digital upgrading in finance, education, tourism, new energy, agriculture, natural disaster prevention and other fields.

Last November, Chinese President Xi Jinping attended a meeting on China-Pacific island countries relations in Papua New Guinea. The two sides agreed to upgrade China-Pacific island relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership based on mutual respect and common development, providing a strong political platform for cooperation among countries.
The two sides signed a memorandum of understanding on jointly building the Belt and Road and decided to strengthen China-Pacific island relations and practical cooperation in various fields within the framework of the Belt and Road.
After joining the overall framework of Belt and Road, countries have been deepening all aspects together with China, and have begun to implement them at the enterprise level.
The second Belt and Road Summit opened in Beijing this morning, the delegates from South Pacific island nation visited Lenovo Group headquarter and met with Ms. Janet Tang, CEO of Lenovo Intelligence Cloud and Mr. Jiangtao Sun, CEO of China Binary New Fintech Group and Founder of CBiBank.

Janet said that Lenovo is one of the world's most trusted data center, communications infrastructure providers and intelligent equipment manufacturers. Taking the opportunity of Belt and Road, Lenovo is willing to actively participate in the digital upgrading of countries in South Pacific,and assist countries to establish digital economic infrastructure.

At the same time, institutions are invited to participate in the Digital Belt and Road integration project to jointly explore cooperation in the field of education and cultural and economic exchanges. In combination with the industrial strength of agriculture, tourism, clean energy, natural disaster prevention and control technology, we will promote innovative economic development through the construction of digital and intelligent infrastructure.

At the end of the meeting, Lenovo Intelligence Cloud and China Binary also said that they would visit the South Pacific in May and elaborate a more detailed Digital Belt and Road solutions, so as to better meet the needs of local economies and future development of each country.
